It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Pressley of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Raper and Beryl Jackson Crane; and her son-in-law Boyd Gutherie. She is survived by: her husband Ray Pressley; her sisters, JoAnn Rhinehart (Russell), Jewel Atwood and Crystal Raper Robertson; her children, Annette Guthrie and David Pressley (Jill); her grandchildren, David Whitt (Andi), Shelby Harbin (Caleb) and Sheridan Pressley; and her great grandchildren, Madi Whitt, Andrew and Brooks Harbin.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to contribute to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church at 2397 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler N.C. 28715.
