It is with sadness that the passing of Myra Wilson James of Candler, North Carolina is shared. Myra, born on July 10, 1949, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Wilson and Jackie Davis Wilson; her sisters, Peggy Jordan and Glenna Mann; and her granddaughter Moriah Foster.
She is survived by: her husband Ardell James; her children, Sherry McClelland Foster, Becky McClelland (Julie) and Mikey McClelland (Barbie); her stepchildren, Roy, Rhonda, Russell and Randall James; her sister Linda Wright; her aunt Marie Meadows; her grandsons, Matthew McClelland (Rebekah), Lucas McClelland, Dylan Biddix and Jake Blankenship; her great grandchild Marshall McClelland; her stepgrandchildren, Cheyene Cantello and Jasper James; and her siblings-in-law, Ronnie James and Linda James. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Baptist Church (525 Old US 19 23 Hwy, Candler, NC 28715). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
