He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul V. Jr. Ridenhour and Margaret Burch Ridenhour; and his brother-in-law Lee Ferguson. He is survived by: his sister Susan Ferguson of Murphy; and his sibling's children, Leanne Ferguson Grady (Jacob) of Raleigh and Bryan Ferguson (Kerrigan) of Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Paul Ridenhour to Gideons International, PO Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
