He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Overman and Mary Lula Cody Overman; his wife Brenda Overman; and his siblings, Edward, Jimmy, Howard Overman and Mary Overman Angel.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Overman, Whitney Searcy and Brittney Rathbone; and his sister Kathy Overman (David). He is also survived by grandchildren.
