Thomas left this world on April 12, 2026 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garrett "Dock" Lance and Hazel Nell Parker Lance; and his brother James Aaron "Whitey" Lance. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Hull-Ryde, Tracy McGaha and Thomas W. "Chip" Lance II; his grandchildren, Brittany McGaha Arneson, Jay McGaha, DJ Hull-Ryde and Reagan Lance; and his great grandchildren, Kyson Arneson and Evie McGaha.
