With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Arthur Hawkins (Candler, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred William and Nola Duckett Hawkins; his wife Jeanene Couch Hawkins; his daughter Mary Nadine Hawkins; his stepson Sterling Wayne Rose; and his granddaughters, Anne and Nola Litz.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Hawkins Anderson, Jeff Hawkins, Kimberly Hawkins Litz (Vance) and John William Hawkins (Heather); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Litz, Devin Anderson, Lauren Anderson and Mark Anderson; his stepgrandsons, Sean Anderson and Eric Anderson; and his in-laws, Sam and Anna Couch.
