It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Carter of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reigh Scroggs and Bonnie Lee Johnson Scroggs; and her husband Phillip Sidney Carter. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

She was volunteer with the American Cancer Society and a member of the J.O.Y. Club at Canton First Baptist Church.
