She is survived by: her son Dana Penland; her daughter-in-law Jessica Long; her nieces, Karen Drake of Orlando and Lisa Mctyre of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her great-nephew Garrison Mctyre; her cousins, Rhonda Smith of Waynesville, Ketta Nelson, Barbara Nelson, Jon Nelson, Mitch and Laura Nelson; and her husband Charles Robert Penland.
