He was predeceased by: his mother Maggie Luv Caldwell; and his siblings, Riley Caldwell, Walter Caldwell, Bertha Sutton, Dorothy Messer and Irene Sutton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Stokey Caldwell (Geraldine), Sally Messer (Buck) and Nettie Hannah; and his close friend Katherine. He is also survived by brothers, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Smoky Mountain Cremations & Funeral Service (3732 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
