Though Cheryl Denise may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cheryl Denise leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Walter Gibson, Sr.; her sister Carroll Gibson Jones; and her grandparents, Wade, Pearl Gibson, William and Mamie Owens.
She is survived by: her mother Lois Owens Gibson of Canton; her brothers, Walter Gibson Jr. (Brenda) of Canton and Reginald Gibson (Ethel Mae) of Hickory; and her aunt Christianna Gibson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great- nephews; several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (24 Sanctuary Hill Dr, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
