He is survived by: his sons, Allen Townsend (Rita), Dwight Townsend (Jean London), Billy Townsend, Michael Townsend and Charles Townsend (Patsy); and his sisters, Jeanette, Bonnie, Donna and Frances. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
