He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Perry Russell, Sr. and Pauline Patton Russell; his wife Shirley Jean Trantham Russell; his sister Frances Church; and his brother-in-law Steve Henson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Henson, Nancy Henson (Harold), Hugh Russell (Vicki) and Skipper Russell (Lori); and his brother-in-law Joe Church. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
