It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Earlene Taylor Donaldson (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Azzi Taylor and Hazel Putnam Taylor; her brother Charles Walter Taylor; and her significant other Harold Donaldson. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Ashe (Scott) and Darrell (Sheri); her great grandchildren, Michelle Surrett (Randy) of Canton, Mark Swanger (Misty) of Johnson City, TN, Kolbe Donaldson of Clyde, Ali Swanger, Madasyn, Conar Surrett and Blakley Pinkerton; and her sister Betty Jean Taylor Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
