He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ball and Beulah Ball; his brother Leonard; his nephews, Chris and Payson; and his brother Jackie.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lanell Ball; his son Tyrone Ball; his siblings, Gene Ball (Clara), Billy Ball, Betty Cutshaw and Louise Franklin; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ball and Diann Ball; his stepchildren, Roxanne Holmes and Joshua Holmes (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Justin, Levi, Mason and Nova. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
