He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lee Howell and Esther Long Howell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stamey Howell; his son Gary Lee Howell, II (Lisa Marie); his grandsons, Tyler Brayden and Conner Alexander; and his sister Lillian.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crawford (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716).
