He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. Robinson and Frankie Robinson; his wife Dora "Mama Bear" Robinson; his son Jeremy David Robinson; and his brother Larry Marvin Robinson.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Robinson of Canton; his brother Alan Robinson of Canton; and his grandchildren, Emily Mullinax of Hendersonville and Nathan Robinson of Hickory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
