With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gedwin L. Allen of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamilton and Winfred Elizabeth Allen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pace Allen; his sons, Brian Allen (Lou Ann) of Waynesville and Steve Allen (April Hyde Allen) of Clyde; his grandchildren, Jacob Allen, Jessy Ward (Ethan), Hannah Rayburn (Talon) and Avery Allen Ledford; and his great grandchildren, Ember, Banks and Ivy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Community Church, 289 Industrial Park Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786.
