It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harley RhodesJr. (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Rhodes Sr. and Edith Newman Rhodes; and his sisters, Jean Hoyt and Bobbie Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Rhodes; his daughters, Elaine Clinard (Wayland) and Alison Lipham; his grandchildren, Courtney Clinard, Justin Clinard (Jennifer), Sidney Truesdale and Sheridan Summer (Nathanael); his great grandchildren, Carson, Callie, Cash, Charley Clinard, Hudson and Harleigh Summer; and his siblings, Jackie Rhodes (Louise), Betty Jo Best, Bill Rhodes (Yvonne) and Jimmy Rhodes. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Community Kitchen in Haywood County, honoring Harley's lifelong devotion to service and the community.
