He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Harvey Mathews and Eula Mae Greene Mathews; and his brother Ray Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hipps Mathews; and his daughters, Traci of Asheville, Holly of Asheville and Carrie Mathews of Asheville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716).
For 29 years, Harold was employed at DayCo where he worked as a production manager, making significant contributions to his field.
