He is survived by: his children, Debbie Carter (Ed Kreiling) of Marshall, Donna Souder (Ken) of Rockledge, FL and Robert "Robbie" Lester of Canton; his grandchildren, Terry King (Sara), Kari Anne Willis of Canton, Celia Renee Hyde of Canton and Lindsey Turner (Jason); his great grandchildren, Tyler Carter, Myla Renee Ledford of Waynesville, Ashley Marie King and Lea Turner; and his siblings, Howard Carter of Enka, Vera Pickens, Myrtle Harvey, Helen Brown, Elmer Carter, Hobert Carter, Jr. and Lester Carter.
