He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight Bennett and Channon Gibson; his godson Brandon McDowell; his cousin Tammy Bryson VanHook (Blaine); and his close friend Randy McDowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Crawford (1 N Main St, Canton, NC 28716).
