The passing of LaTiece Roberts Eggleston of Canton, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sterling Roberts and Lorena Estella Coone; her siblings, Carl, Vaniece, Hoyle and Wanda; and her sons, David and Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Robert, Deborah (Henry), Sandra (Mallory) and Carol; her sister Lisa Roberts Allen (Gary); and her brother-in-law Richard Butler. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 19 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ray Funeral and Cremation Service (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Alexander Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
