She is survived by: her sons, Walter Gibson, Jr. (Brenda) of Canton and Reginald Gibson (Mae) of Hickory; her sister-in-law Christiana Gibson; and her cousin Patti Owens. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
