He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev David Austin and Bessie Jean Austin. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Cagle Austin; his granddaughters, Alexis, Baylee Woods, Aubree Woods and Taylee Gibbs; his son Christopher Reeder (Brittany); his siblings, Debbie McNeil (Douglas), Melinda Dancy (Kenneth) and Wesley Austin (Lisa); his nephew Joshua McNeil (Kristel); his great-nephews, Zachary and Tyler; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Hollar (Allen) and Ashley Hollar (David); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harley and Ben; his nephew Christopher Schultz (Heather); his nephews, Jonah Austin and Andrew Austin; his niece Emma Austin; and also Logan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
