Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nancy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clarence "Bob" Black and Frances Rhyne Black. She is survived by: her husband Hal Lewis Mosteller; her daughters, Diana Chinn of Canton and Melody Mosteller of Dallas; her grandsons, Jacob Gray of Charlotte and Andrew Gray of Greenville, SC; and her siblings, Barbara Saunders of Denver and Robert Black, Jr. of Florida.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home (405 N Dixie St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
