With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Ernest Anderson (Canton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest Anderson and Ruby Queen Anderson; and his brother Roger Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McDowell Anderson; his children, Joey Anderson (Rhonda), Marc Anderson (Regina), Jeremy Anderson (Bethany) and Deb Buckner; his grandchildren, Kristy Thompson (Travis), Erin Anderson and Zach Anderson (Grace); and his stepgrandsons, Jonathan Jackson (Melissa) and Brandon Worley (Kaitlyn). He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren; and a multitude of friends.
