With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Eugene Brackett (Canton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Brackett and Mary E. Shipman Brackett of Hoopers Creek; and his brothers, Bobby, Floyd, Carl and Jerry Brackett.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Brackett; his children, Nicole, Paul (Cindy) of Hoopers Creek, Jody of Clyde, Matt of Clyde, Mike of Clyde and Bobby of Asheville; his grandson Eli Kaylor; and his siblings, Barbara (Bill), Sheila (Calvin) and Terry (Doris). He is also survived by 12 other grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
