He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bumgarner Saams of Canton; his daughter Jessica Metcalf (Brandon) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Randalyn Metcalf and Jameson Metcalf; his brother Jeff Saams (Marilyn) of Texas; and his sibling's children, Kim, Lauren and David.
