She was predeceased by: her father Lewie Trull; her stepson Thad Messer; and her granddaughter Ada Jones. She is survived by: her mother Rosemary Trull; her husband James Rufus Messer; her son Will Jones (Kaitlyn); her stepdaughter Jamie Brannon (James); her siblings, Lesa Ashe (Danny), Teresa Anders (Barry) and Wayne Trull (Lana); her grandchildren, Malachi, Josie of Shilah, AJ, Dylan, Christina, James and Dalton; and her great grandchildren, Kai and Liam. She is also survived by dog, "Axel Rose" and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rocky Face Baptist Church (1635 Worley Cv Rd, Canton, NC 28716).
