He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Smith of Canton; his siblings, Renee Thompson of Canton, Tamara Thompson Medford of Clyde and James Robbie Thompson (Thelma) of Aiken; his half-brother Joseph Thompson of Hendersonville; his siblings' children, Bryan A., Steven D., Nicholas Thompson and Dominique D. Medford; his close friend Carol Cherry of Davie, Florida.; Edward Sharpe.
