She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarvis Caldwell and Wilsye Caldwell; her daughter Carolyn Jones; her siblings, James "Lucky" Caldwell, Maggie Lee Sutton Cagle and Ella Jane Morrow; her siblings' children, Homer Lee Sutton, Jamie Douglas Rich, Darren Eugene Cagle and Sandra Lee Gentry; and her grandson Cameron Blake.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Thompson; her son Lucky Joe Jones (Sandy); her grandsons, Chris Jones (Brianna) and Jacob Suttles (Christa); her sisters, Mary Sue Gentry, Barbara Cagle and Hazel Rich; and her grandchildren, Cody, McKenna, Weston Jones, Ivan, Sofia, JJ, Sophia, Natalie, Katie Blake and Sawyer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local food pantry of one's choice.
