He was predeceased by: his parents, Melzer Adron Morgan and Elizabeth Rogers Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Mangum Morgan; his children, Margaret Morgan Lee, Christopher Brian Pope (Shelley) and Leah Ragan Ham (Dale); his grandchildren, Brittany Lee, Megan Lee, Chelsea Lee, Seth Pope (Kassidy), Luke Pope, Jake Pope, Kayla Ham and Leah Ham; his great grandchild Hadley Layne Koonce; and his siblings, Melzer Adron Morgan Jr. (Molly), Anne Rogers Morgan and Joseph Norman Morgan (Nancy).
