Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sarty and Roxie Sarty. He is survived by: his son Tyler; his stepdaughter Jennifer; his grandson Wyatt; his siblings, Debbie, Tondra, Ona, Othelia and Bert Jr.; and his nieces, Kelly and Brittany.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan's Highland Chapel (610 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
