It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Marie Heath of Carolina Beach, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Wesley Heath and Mary Eason Godwin; and her siblings, Daniel Heath, Steve Heath, Gene Heath, Larry Heath, Pete Heath and Catherine Turner.
She is survived by : her children, Jimmy Lucas and Elaine Lucas Griffin; her sister-in-law Kay Heath; her grandchildren, Ann Marie Lucas, Ava Kay Lucas, Caitlin Hatfield, Amanda Purvis, Tessa Delaney Griffin, Johnny Lynn Griffin (Ashley) and Adriana Griffin Thompson (Joshua Ray Thompson); and her great grandchildren, Gunner Wendell Thompson and Brynley Nicole Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her very special friend.
