She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Lee Furr and Dora Furr; her son Rodney Douglas Klutz; her grandson Douglas Brandon Klutz of Northport, Alabama; her sister Ruth Brooks of Midland; and her niece Maxine Nivens of Carolina Beach. She was also cherished by six brothers and four sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the 1st Baptist Church of Carolina Beach (1209 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
