She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Lilley and Mary Elizabeth Lilley (Manning); and her husband Howard. She is survived by: her children, Pam (Bob) of Mebane, Beth Hanks (Ronnie) of Raleigh and Steven (J. P.) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Zoe Hanks and Morgan Hanks; and her pet Baby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital; the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA); or the Durham Rescue Mission.
