He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Gray Owens, Sr.; and his cousins, Jonathan Aron Wells and Gary Douglas Wells. He is survived by: his sister Angela Owens Bailey; his nieces and nephews, Somer Powell and Hunter Bailey of Wilson; his brother Jason Owens of Chapel Hill; his stepbrother Michael Zahn Moore of Wake Forest; his aunt Debbie Denton Owens (Carole Owens Robinson) of Pittsboro; his uncle Rueben Owens of Fountain; and his cousin Justin Owens of Macclesfield.
