With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bobby Dean Whitaker (Carthage, North Carolina), whose life came to an end on April 29, 2025 at the age of 52, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Michael Lee Short; his uncles, Alvin Faulkner and George Faulkner; and his grandparents, Fenner, Peggy Faulkner, Daniel, Estelle Gatewood and Emmanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his parents, Linda Short and Larry Whitaker; his sisters, KristieTyer (Scott) and Angela Williams (Ernest); and his daughters, Sabrina Pantaleon (Alejandro) and Lisa Donathan (Chris). He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, a great nephew, and a great niece.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Summer Hill Baptist Church (663 Summer Hill Church Rd, Carthage, NC 28327). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glendon Independent Christian Church (148 Glendon Church Rd, Glendon, NC 27325).
