We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, at the age of 77, Danny Lonnie Cheek of Carthage, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Thomas and Annie Marie Lewis Cheek; his sister Genieve Jackson; and his granddaughter Georgia Kate Wright. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cheek of Carthage; his children, Paula Cheek (Jason) of Robbins, Laurie Wright of Carthage, Bronson Wright (Amy) of Eagle Springs and Andy Frye of Carthage; his sister Mary Ann Poe (Johnny) of Robbins; his grandchildren, Colt Cox (Kayley), Jakob Garner (Courtney), Haylee Ratliff, Kaydence Wright, Jada Carlyle, Kamron Wright, Keller Maples, Lee Griffin, Jada Norton, Abilene Wright and Easton Wright; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Laney and Raelyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
