With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Oldham of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Oldham and Angie Mashburn Oldham; her sister Brenda Upchurch; and her nephew Shane Upchurch. She is survived by : her son Charles Childress of Aberdeen; her sister Pam O. Brady (Gary) of Carthage; her grandchildren, Brooks Childress (Savannah) and Nathan Childress; her great grandchild Lila Childress; her nieces and nephews, Shelly Lindley (Russell) of High Falls, Amy Comer of High Falls, Hollie Seawell (Jerrell) of High Falls, Chad Upchurch of High Falls and Houston Brady (Kelly) of West End; and her brother-in-law Jackie Upchurch of High Falls.
