He is survived by: his wife Carolyn King; his son Charles Derek King (Jennifer) of Broadway; his grandchildren, Katie and Davin King; his great grandchild Nova Putnam; and his siblings, Jewell Vest of West End, Brenda Hickman of West End, Larry King (Linda) of West End and Granville King (Janet) of Aberdeen.
