He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lynn Spivey (Allan) of Putnam and Mitchell Lewis Painter (Danielle) of West End; his grandchildren, Shad Lewis Painter, Christopher Scott Donathan (Lisa), Michael Tyler Painter (Casey), Ashley Spivey Dunn (Tyler) and Josie Cameron Painter (Timothy); his stepgrandchildren, Dakota Boykin, Garret Boykin and Summer Boykin; his great grandchildren, Sadie Mae Donathan, Emma Rose Donathan, Ayda Jane Donathan, Weston Layne Donathan, Bailie Rae Painter, Jameson Colt Painter and Parker Lynn Dunn; his siblings, Robert Painter (Linda), Garry Painter, Reva, Lisa and Susan; and his friend Nelson Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
