He is survived by : his wife Cleo Walters of Virginia; his children, Edward Piechal (Trish) of South Dakota, Jamie Salmon (Richard Salmon) of Carthage, NC, Katherine Queen of California, Wanda Lynn Bowman (Lindsay) of Florida and Betty Walters of Florida; his sisters, Wanda Norton (Wayne) of Laurel Hill, NC and Carol Strickland of Garner, NC; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Heller, April Carson (Aaron), Jason Boyd, Daniel Bowman and Jacob Bowman.
