She was predeceased by: her parents, William Baxter and Lenore Rose Hoyt Kennedy; and her brother William "Bill" Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Cole; her daughters, Teresa "Terrie" Perham (Burton) of Oxford, Georgia, Robin Oxendine (Chuck) of Vass and Lisa Marie Baker of Carthage; and her sister Mary Bailey of Carthage. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home (4888 US-1, Vass, NC 28394).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
