With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Edwin Morris of Carthage, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Morris and Mathelda Sarah Keel Morris; and his wife Hilda Emra Cagle Morris. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Morris (Lisa) and Keel Godwin (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Will Morris (Jocelyn Mendez), Kate Medlin (Shane) and Jonah Morris Godwin.
