He was predeceased by: his son Dalton Shane Smith; and his brother Phillip Ray Smith. He is survived by: his wife Diane Smith; his children, Rodney Dustin Smith, Johnny Ridge Smith, Madison Shaw McKinney, Teresa Joe Tyner and Steven Christopher Carpenter; his parents, Johnny A. Smith (Linda) and Marcia H. Presley; and his siblings, Rebecca Smith Brown and Jeffrey Brent Smith. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
