Ruth Horne Lineberry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2025, at the age of 88, Ruth Horne Lineberry of Carthage, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Margaret Wicker Horne; her husband Billy Lee Lineberry; her son Kenneth Lineberry; and her siblings, Bill, Glenn, Wayne Horne and Louise Morrison.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Whitaker (Andy) of Cameron; her sister Ann Douglas of Carthage; her grandsons, Matthew Whitaker (Emily), Reid Whitaker (LeeAnn) and Adam Lineberry (Kelsi); and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Andrew, Kara and Grady. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
