It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valeria Arrington Hardy of Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. B. Arrington and Ludie Law Arrington; her husband Robert R. Hardy; her daughter Anita Hardy Blue; her grandson Jonathan Hardy; and her siblings, Gwenda Arrington, Faye Chappel, Deborah Joyce, Kenneth, Bob and Donald Arrington.
She is survived by: her son Robert Dean Hardy (Gloria) of Jamestown; her siblings, Frances "Toot" Marion of Rural Hall, Diana "Dena" Lawrence of Pilot Mountain, Rex Arrington of Cana, VA and Ricky Arrington of Mount Airy; her grandchildren, Rob Hardy (Tiffany) of Fontana Village, Laura Mashburn (Phillip) of Carthage, Amy Brown (Brandon) of Raleigh and Elizabeth Caddell (Wes) of Carthage; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Maven, Tad, Max and Lila Mae. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
