In the vast expanse of eternity, Wayne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wayne farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Queen Esther (Hough) and Thomas Robert Livengood (Tom); and his brother Robert Max Livengood. He is survived by: his wife Alice Futral Livengood; his daughter Heidi Livengood Chalflinch (James Brewer) of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Philip Picerno (Amanda) of Carthage, Caleb Chalflinch (Maria) of Carthage, Maudie Chalflinch Cole (Cory) of Sanford, Samuel Bennett of Carthage and Luke Cunningham of Vass. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that family and friends consider giving contributions in Wayne's memory to the Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Wayne Thomas Livengood 's name.
