He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Williams-Jones; his children, Nicole Renee "Nikki" Jones (Taras) of Hackensack, NJ and Andrew Levar Jones (Kacie) of Clifton, NJ; his grandchildren, Aliyah Renee Jones, Jaylon Anthony-Taras Jones, Braylen Robert Jones and Derek William Jones; his siblings, Rohazel Jones of Englewood, NJ, Betty Jones of Eastwood, NC and Jacqualine Ross (Earl) of Southern Pines, NC; his siblings-in-law, Thelma McClelland of Carthage, NC, Robert Williams (Edna) of Las Vegas, NV and David Williams of Iselin, NJ; his godson Jared Grissett, Sr. of Paterson, NJ; and his friends, Boston Lee (Dee) of Virgina Beach, VA, Roscoe Pratt (Lisa) of Carthage, Carl Sams (Denise) of Bogota, NJ and Earl Ross (Jacqualine) of Southern Pines. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harrington Chapel Freewill Baptist Church (164 S Carlisle St, Southern Pines, NC 28387). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28310).
